Andrew Hay opened Paper Papier under the “The Papery” banner in 1982 on William Street in Ottawa’s historic Byward Market. In 1995, the name was changed to Paper Papier, launching an exciting, new era as an independent business under the sole ownership of Andrew. In 2003, Paper Papier moved to its current fabulous location, 18 Clarence Street at Sussex Drive. With a spacious retail location and customer-centric focus, we unveiled our floral division, Paper Papier Fleurissant in the spring of 2014. The ambiance of Fleurissant was inspired by the elegant Métro stations of Art Nouveau Paris. While very much a statement of contemporary design, Fleurissant is a reflection of a distant, elegant era. The growing Paper Papier family offers a host of complementary creative services—all at one prime location. With our fine selection of writing instruments, social stationery, greeting cards and floral designs, Paper Papier is your one-stop destination for creative expression. We look forward to many more years of business success and will continue to respond to the evolving needs of you, our valued customer!
